Information Concerning Your Water Bill:

A Utility Deposit is required prior to water service being placed into your name.  The amount of the utility deposit is determined according to the size meter serving the structure.  An account set up fee of $10.00 will appear on your first bill.

Size of Connection                                                                    Deposit Required

< or = 1” $100
> 1” to 2” $200
> 2” to 4” $300
> 4” $400

The utility deposit will be applied to the customer’s final bill or credited to the account after 24 consecutive months in good standing for owners and 60 months for non-owners.  All water and sewer is billed on actual water consumption.

Your first utility bill will be printed on the last day of the month, due upon receipt and delinquent on the 10th of the month by 5:00 p.m.  You are required to notify the City when you are moving and want your utility service to end.

Utility bills are mailed on the last business day of each month and are considered delinquent if payment-in-full is not received at City Hall by 5:00 p.m. on the 10th of each month.  A late fee calculated as 10% of water and sewer charge will be added to the delinquent account after that time.

Water service will be interrupted if payment-in-full is not received at City Hall by 5:00 p.m. on the 20th of each month.

A $35.00 Disconnect/Reconnect Processing Fee plus late charges, a deposit if not on file, and all delinquent amounts past due must be paid to have water service re-established prior to 4:30 p.m. on the day of payment.
