It is the mission of the Bolivar Police Department to provide professional and impartial service in protection of the lives and property of the citizens of Bolivar. We will serve the community with integrity, honesty, courage and commitment to promote and maintain the safety and security of all. We will strive to create partnerships with the community while upholding and improving the quality of life and safeguarding the freedoms and liberty of all citizens.




Chief’s Welcome
Chief Webb welcomes you to the website of the Bolivar Police Department! We are pleased and appreciate your interest in us. The department is located in the Public Safety center located at 211 W Walnut St. in Bolivar, MO which is behind the City Hall building. We presently have 37 members of the Bolivar Police Department. There are 20 commissioned officers who include 3 investigators and a school resource officer/DARE instructor. Completing the staff are 11 civilians that include an Program Administrator, Police Services Admin, Traffic enforcement, Animal Control Officers, Police Clerks, a Mental Health Liaison, and a Project Administrator.

The staff and officers of the Bolivar Police Department are honored to be able to work and live in this community. We work hard to serve and protect in a professional, yet compassionate manner.
