Fire Stations

The City Fire Department provides complete firefighting capabilities, vehicle extrication and rescue capabilities, medical response with 15 NREMT’s and 4 emergency medical responders, and haz-mat response to the Operations level.

Public Safety Center (PSC) is our main station and is located at 211 West Walnut. The PSC houses Engine 11, Ladder 12, and our Rescue 14. This facility was purchased in 2014 and while the crews have been sleeping, eating, and working out of this facility. the garages were built in 2022 and dedicated April 14, 2022.  Both apparatus contain a full heavy duty extrication set for rescue calls, as well as air bags. Both apparatus are extended cab units with intercom systems, equipped with Thermal Imaging Cameras, Knox Box systems and all ISO mandated equipment.

 

fire2Station 1 is our  former main station and is located at 312 S. Springfield Avenue. Station 1 houses Engine 13, which is our auto-aid apparatus. This facility was built in 1983 and was home for many years. Due to limited space at the PSC, this facility is still where maintenance and daily equipment testing occur. This station is not occupied, and if you need assistance please go to the PSC.

 

 

fire3Station 2 Located on South Killingsworth Avenue, Station 2 houses Engine 21, and provides coverage to the west side of Bolivar.
