Located at 601 W. Forest (N. Highway 83), this park is a real gem.  If offers four pavilions with water and electricity, seasonal restrooms, play equipment, picnic tables through the park, BBQ grill and pits, nature trails, horseshoe pits, washer toss pits, storm safe room and a small lake.

The Bolivar Police Department adheres to the Missouri Sunshine Law in the release of information and records.  Accident reports may be obtained by mail or in person. To allow for processing, these reports are available 7 business days following the date of the accident and can be attained at the Police Dept. during regular business hours.

Each year during the holidays, the Bolivar Police Department joins with Wal-Mart to sponsor Shop with a Cop®.  Wal-mart designates an amount of money and the department matches it.  Each year local businesses and individuals from our community faithfully contribute to support this wonderful program.

DareD.A.R.E. is, and has been, a special program for the Bolivar Police Department.  In the early 1990’s when the program was first introduced to the mid-west, MSHP Trooper Alan Hines taught the first class in a Bolivar classroom as a trial.
